Built among the branches of two century-old oak trees, this cozy cabin offers a warm interior and a generous south-facing terrace that invites long breakfasts, lazy afternoons, and stargazing after sunset. Designed with comfort and simplicity in mind, the cabin features a small refrigerator and additional dishware available on request to facilitate picnics or casual meals on the terrace. Breakfast is included with your stay and is served between 9:00 and 9:30 at the cabin. The property’s large meadow is a particular asset for families: children can enjoy outdoor games while adults soak in the quiet and the panoramic views of wooded hills. Located on a four-hectare estate in the Perche Natural Park, La Cabane des Chênes benefits from easy access to outdoor activities. A safe, scenic cycling route (the Voie Verte) lies just five kilometers away for day-long rides, while the Réno-Valdieu forest is only minutes from the property for shorter walks and nature exploration. We provide maps, route suggestions, and recommend downloading the Rando Perche app for a variety of hikes matched to different durations and difficulty levels. As a micro-structure with just two cabins, we can adapt to special requests and provide local recommendations for dining and activities. Please note that pets are not allowed, same-day reservations close at 16:00, check-in is from 16:00 to 19:00, and check-out is by 11:00.
