Pointe Noire Museum :
Located in Grande plaine, just a few minutes from the West Indies Cottage cottages. The Maison du cacao presents the different stages in the production of cocoa, as well as its history, cultivation and harvesting. The eco-museum is dedicated to the cultivation of the cocoa fruit, the origins of chocolate and its artisanal production.

Pointe-Noire is less than 2 minutes' drive from the West Indies Cottage cottages, and owes its name to the black rocks that came straight out of the lava flows of ancient volcanoes: "la Couronne" and "la Belle Hôtesse".

Kayak Guadeloupe :
Come and discover the Cousteau Reserve in Bouillante in a different way, by renting a kayak with Gwada Pagaie. You'll cross the Cousteau Reserve and paddle around the îlet Pigeon at your own pace.
