Cabane et Lov'nid Perchés Mira — Treehouse and Lov'nid in Villiers-sur-Chizé

Nestled in the peaceful village of Villiers-sur-Chizé in the Poitou-Charente region, Cabane et Lov'nid Perchés Mira offers unique, eco-friendly glamping experiences for couples, families, and nature lovers. Located at 4 Rue du Moulin de l'Isle, 79170 Villiers-sur-Chizé, France, our site features the perched cabin “Mira,” discreetly integrated into a mature holm oak and able to host up to five guests, and the romantic LOV'NID “Mira,” a suspended spherical nest hung eight metres above the ground between walnut and ash trees. A traditional roulotte (gypsy caravan) is available to welcome two additional guests when required. The harmony between each accommodation and its supporting tree creates an immersive nature experience: enjoy bird song, forest scents, and star-filled skies away from city lights. Arrivals are from 18:00 to 20:00 and departures are before 12:00. Same-day reservations close at midnight. A small tourist tax of €0.30 per adult, per night applies and is paid on site. Breakfast is included for night stays, and you are welcome to prepare your own meals on site if you prefer. Several nearby restaurants such as La Bonne Etape (Dampierre-sur-Boutonne) and A Table (Brioux-sur-Boutonne) are recommended. Guests can borrow canoes and bikes free of charge; canoeing and fishing on the Boutonne river provide gentle outdoor adventures for all ages. Explore the forest of Chizé just 2 km away, or take daily excursions to local attractions such as Zoodyssée, the Asinerie du Baudet du Poitou, the medieval town of Melle, the mines of Melle, the Tumulus of Bougon, the Marais Poitevin, the Vallée des Singes, and the Futuroscope.
