Description
Cabane des Marais is a delightful stilted cabin offering a waterside experience with direct views across the pond. Oriented south to maximize sunlight, the cabin features a large bay window and an open terrace that invites fishing, birdwatching and relaxed afternoons beside the water. Its layout includes sleeping areas suitable for families, a small kitchen and a cozy living space with LED television and free Wi-Fi. The cabin includes a wood stove for ambiance and heating, basic kitchen equipment and modern conveniences for a comfortable stay. Guests can take advantage of the domain's canoes to explore the pond or to fish—No Kill fishing is available for visitors free of charge. Nearby facilities include shared sanitary blocks and the estate’s heated pool. After working in the restaurant business, Olivier Loux decided to change his life. He moved to the Dordogne nineteen years ago, creating an unusual village with perched cabins, fustes à la Canadienne, Lov'nids and other unusual accommodations. Le Moulin de la Jarousse, open ten months of the year, offers a multitude of free activities for the whole family, while Olivier continues to innovate with original projects such as a Japanese-style perched house and unique Lov'Nids.
