Village Flottant de Pressac, located on Etang du Ponteil in the heart of the Vienne, offers an unforgettable blend of nature, comfort and originality. With around thirty floating cabins set on a protected 6-hectare pond and framed by Natura 2000 habitat, the site is ideal for couples, families and groups who want to relax, fish and observe wildlife in a preserved environment. Each cabin is designed to bring you close to the water and the sky. Guests receive a rowboat for personal use, breakfast included for floating cabins, bed linen, and access to the Capitainerie for Wi‑Fi and sanitary facilities. The village offers several cabin categories to suit different needs: intimate duo cabins perfect for a romantic getaway, family cabins with bunk beds for children, and larger lodges with a kitchenette and private bathroom for longer stays or groups. Safety and guest comfort are priorities: staff are available at arrival to answer questions and explain practical aspects of your stay. On-site dining elevates the experience. La Marina serves regional dishes on a floating terrace, and the floating grill cabins let you cook over an open wood fire for a convivial, memorable evening. Gourmet floating aperitifs and meal baskets are available on request, delivered to your cabin by the on-site team. For total relaxation, book the outdoor spa or a 45-minute private nordic bath session facing the horizon. Beyond the pond, the region offers a variety of attractions: the Valley of Monkeys, medieval Chauvigny, Montmorillon the city of writing, and local hiking and cycling routes that cross Natura-protected zones. The site is open seasonally from February to November with arrivals between 14:00 and 18:00 and departures by 11:00. Whether you're an amateur or a professional, an enthusiast or just curious, Pressac's Village Flottant gives you the chance to enjoy a spot of fishing on the terrace of your cabin! The Village Flottant pond covers 6 hectares. Surrounded by hills, it is fed by rainwater collected by a stream. Discover our new fishing pond located about 200 meters upstream from the Village! The granite subsoil is impervious to water, ensuring the development of flora and fauna.

Restaurant LA MARINA: traditional and inventive cuisine from €13 for the daily menu
lunch and dinner from 12:00 to 13:00 and from 19:00 to 20:30. The restaurant is open to both Village Flottant and non-Village Flottant customers! Situated on the quayside opposite the floating grill huts, La Marina du Ponteil is a traditional restaurant, welcoming you in a beautiful setting. With your feet in the water, come and enjoy lunch or dinner on the floating terrace, or in the dining room.

Access your grill hut via a small footbridge over the water, and cook your own meal over a wood fire, in a convivial atmosphere and at your own pace. The restaurant-grill huts can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests. They float on the water and are accessible via a footbridge linked to the riverbank.
