Domaine du LieuDieu — Equestrian Centre and Nature Retreat near Baie de la Somme

Beauchamps (Somme - Picardie)
One accommodation on this estate

Description

Domaine du LieuDieu is an authentic sports-and-nature estate located at 5 Lieu Dieu, 80770 Beauchamps, France, on the doorstep of the Baie de la Somme and the Bresle valley. Spanning around 100 hectares of private grounds, the Domaine combines a passionate equestrian culture — with 70 horses and ponies — and dynamic water-sports facilities, including two cable wake parks that let guests combine horseback riding with the thrill of wakeboarding. The estate is designed for outdoor lovers and families seeking a calm, active escape. Because the Domaine is pedestrian-only, visitors enjoy peaceful walks and quiet evenings surrounded by meadows, ponds and the nearby forest domaniale d’Eu. Accommodation options are purposely unusual and immersed in nature, offering a different way to stay close to the horses and outdoor activities. A breakfast option can be added to your stay for a small supplement, and picnic jars featuring local produce are available to reheat in your accommodation. There is no full-service restaurant on site, but excellent dining options are only a short drive away in Mers-les-Bains, Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme and Cayeux-sur-Mer. Activities on the Domaine cater to a wide range of interests and ages: guided horse riding lessons and trail rides, pedalos and stand-up paddle on the water, small karting for children, and cycling routes across the property. Guests can explore the estate on foot, by bicycle or on horseback to uncover hidden ponds and scenic viewpoints along the Bresle river, the natural border between Picardy and Normandy. Practical information for visitors: reception hours are 16:00–18:00 Monday to Saturday and 15:00–17:00 on Sunday; accommodations are available from 16:00 and must be vacated between 10:30 and 12:00 (extended to 13:00 if you have a morning activity booked). Pets are accepted with a supplement. Same-day reservations close at 16:00, and arrivals are usually between 16:00 and 19:00 with departures before 12:00. Whether you seek active days on the water and trails or quiet nights beneath the stars, Domaine du LieuDieu is a distinctive base for exploring the Baie de la Somme and the surrounding natural heritage.
