The Petite Cabane is a charming and intimate treehouse designed specifically for couples seeking a romantic and peaceful escape. Perched gently among oak branches on the edge of the walnut grove, it offers a private terrace with garden furniture and a plancha for alfresco meals. Inside, the space is cleverly organized to maximize comfort: a snug sleeping area, compact but functional kitchenette, and thoughtful touches that highlight the farm atmosphere. Guests staying in the Petite Cabane can enjoy the shared 12 m x 6 m pool and the property's leisure area with games like badminton, pétanque and trampoline. Mornings can begin with a farm-fresh breakfast delivered to the pulley of the cabane: order the option the day before and receive homemade jam, local honey, fresh bread and pastries from the nearby bakery, yogurt and seasonal fruit between 08:00 and 10:00. Practical information: arrivals for the treehouses are scheduled between 16:00 and 19:00, and checkout for the Petite Cabane is at 11:00. The standard minimum stay is two nights, with three-night minimums for long weekends. Beds are made on arrival; sheets and towels are provided. In high season, please remember swim towels for the pool. The Petite Cabane places you within easy reach of Bergerac, Lalinde and the vineyards of Pécharmant. For food lovers, we can assemble apéro or meal baskets stocked with regional specialties—foie gras, rillettes, duck confit—and local wines, delivered when you prefer. The hosts, Séverine and Sébastien, are happy to organize farm visits, tastings and guided walks. Pets are not accepted, ensuring a calm atmosphere for all visitors. The Petite Cabane is an ideal choice for couples who want proximity to nature, handcrafted local flavors, and comfort in a unique setting.

Séverine
You are welcomed on the property of Séverine and Sébastien, and their two sons Jules and Pierre. Séverine is a farmer, more precisely a nucicultrice (in bio), that is to say that she cultivates walnut trees (on which you will have an impregnable view since the huts and of which she transforms the walnuts into oil or caramelized kernels). But she is also a beekeeper: thanks to her colonies of bees, she produces a magnificently amber and perfumed Périgord honey. A store selling local products, a tasting tour of the property, a farm snack, a wax workshop and a guided tour of Clérans are all available on site!
On site:
- For the curious: visit and tasting of farm products - on request with the hosts
- For swimmers: shared swimming pool 12m * 6m,
- For players: shared playground (trampoline, rackets, badminton, balls, pétanque, Finnish bowling, Breton shuffleboard, etc.).
- For walkers: hiking trails - Garaube circuit at the foot of the cabins.
- For golfers: Château des Merles golf course 2 minutes away.
For evenings out with friends or family, we offer aperitif and meal baskets for 2 or 4/5. They are made from local produce available in the store. You can also compose your own basket by choosing products on the spot! Rillettes de canard, foie gras, cassoulet or confit de canard, Bergerac wines or craft beers, there's something for every palate!
Breakfast is optional, and costs €10 per person. It consists largely of home-made organic products prepared by Séverine using products from the farm: hot drinks, home-made organic apple juice, home-made organic jams, honey from our apiary, yoghurts, fresh bread and pastries, fresh fruit. It is delivered at the desired time to the cabin's pulley.
Bread and pastries come from the nearby bakery (2km).
Breakfast must be booked the day before and will be delivered to the hut's pulley between 8 and 10 a.m. at your convenience, or to the gîte.
For your aperitifs or gourmet meals, we can prepare baskets of preserved duck from the Domaine de Barbe and wines from the Domaine du Siorac, delivered to the pulley. We'll send you a list on request.
The excellent gourmet restaurant Château Les Merles is close by (less than 1km by car). Other restaurants are available in the surrounding area (Les Marronniers in Lanquais - terroir and lovely terrace, Le Relais in Saint Sauveur, ). We can make reservations for you if you wish.
For simpler meals, Happy'zza makes great takeaway pizzas, and our Saint Capraise baker offers breads, pastries and egg rolls to order.
