Description
The Riverside Cabin at Château de Memanat is a charming, intimate retreat designed for guests who want immediate access to the Thaurion River and the surrounding countryside. This cabin comfortably accommodates two people and combines rustic character with modern amenities: central electric heating, air conditioning, complimentary Netflix and high-speed WiFi, plus a fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. Fresh linens, towels, bathrobes and toiletries are provided for your convenience. Floor-to-ceiling windows and a private terrace make the most of the river views. The cabin benefits from a well-lit interior and reliable electricity, while the bathroom features a walk-in shower and double sinks when space allows. In summer months guests enjoy the heated outdoor pool on the estate, and the riverside location makes it easy to take short walks, go fishing, or simply listen to flowing water from your terrace. Add convenience and local flavor to your stay with the House Hamper (70€) for two, prepared with seasonal produce. Vegetarian hampers and charcuterie boards are also available, as are surprises for birthdays or romantic occasions. If you prefer a relaxed final morning, choose the Late Checkout & Brunch option (40€, available outside July and August) to enjoy brunch at 10:00 and stay until 13:00. We live on the estate and are happy to provide local tips for exploring the woodland trails, paddocks and nearby attractions like Lake Vassivière and the Cité internationale de la tapisserie. Please note: pets are not permitted on the property. Arrivals are between 17:00 and 19:00 and departures by 11:00 unless you have booked late checkout. Bring boots and waterproofs to fully enjoy the riverside walks in any weather. The Riverside Cabin is perfect for couples seeking a peaceful waterside escape with modern comforts and direct access to nature.
