Located in the traditional high-country village of Belvédère and just an hour from the coast, our site places you close to Mercantour National Park, the Vallée des Merveilles and the Refuge de Nice trailhead. Whether you seek a romantic night in a Lovnid, a whimsical stay in our Hobbit Cabin or a cosy experience in the Shepherd's Room, each accommodation is designed to blend comfort with nature. Our hosts welcome guests with a warm, simple style inspired by mountain refuges. Evenings can be spent by the communal fire or sharing our table d'hôtes menu made from local, seasonal produce. Breakfasts are prepared with homemade, organic items: bread, jam, brioche, muesli, yoghurt, cheese and hot drinks vary with the seasons. Evening meals are available by reservation up to 48 hours before arrival; we offer a single communal menu for table d'hôtes and several local lunch options in Belvédère and Roquebillière. Les Écrins de Belvédère is a non-smoking site to protect the environment and reduce fire risk; a dedicated outdoor smoking area is provided near the guest house. For safety and the welfare of our semi-free animals and working dogs, pets are not permitted. Children aged 4 to 12 are welcome to share beds with adults; supplements apply depending on the chosen formula. Practical details: standard arrivals from 4:00 PM (late arrivals possible with prior notice and a €15 supplement; key box access can be arranged with 24-hour notice). Check-out is by 11:00 AM. We offer optional extras to tailor your stay: aperitif (beer or champagne), children’s dinner, two-person table d'hôtes, wine supplement, enhanced breakfast in-cabin, brunch with late check-out and breakfast baskets.
