The Hobbit Cabin at Les Écrins de Belvédère is a carefully crafted, storybook-style shelter that brings enchantment to a mountain stay. With rounded lines, timber finishes and a snug interior, the cabin evokes the charm of traditional alpine shelters while providing modern comforts for a restful night under the stars. Designed primarily for two adults, the Hobbit Cabin is an intimate retreat for couples or solo travellers seeking solitude and natural beauty. The space includes a welcoming double bed, soft textiles, ambient lighting and essential amenities for a comfortable stay. As throughout the property, the site is non-smoking and animals are not allowed to maintain a peaceful environment for our protected dogs and semi-free animals. Breakfast options include a farmhouse-style basket with homemade, organic jams, bread and pastries, seasonal fruit, muesli and local cheeses. Guests may reserve the communal table d'hôtes for an evening meal prepared from regional ingredients; meals must be reserved up to 48 hours in advance. Optional services include aperitifs (beer or Champagne), wine supplements for dinner, supplementary breakfasts in the cabin and a brunch with late check-out tailored for two. Arrival is commonly from 4:00 PM. For arrivals outside standard hours, please inform us in advance: guided late arrivals after 6:00 PM may incur a €15 supplement, or you can request access via the key box with 24-hour notice. Check-out is by 11:00 AM. The cabin is family-friendly for children aged 4 to 12 when sharing the bed with adults; supplements will apply depending on your booking choice. Positioned close to multiple hiking routes, the Hobbit Cabin provides easy access to the Refuge de Nice, Vallée des Merveilles and adventure centres such as Vesubia Mountain Park. Whether you prefer gentle walks, technical climbs, canyoning, or winter sports, our hosts will help plan your outings. Stay in the Hobbit Cabin for a memorable blend of folklore, comfort and mountain adventure.
