The Chestnut Loft is a cozy, romantic retreat designed for couples who wish to escape into the tranquillity of the Perche. Elevated above the fields, this treehouse offers privacy and a close-to-nature atmosphere without sacrificing comfort. Soft candlelight in the evening and the gentle sounds of the estate create a slow pace that invites reconnection. Accessed by stairs or a short walkway, the Chestnut Loft has a private terrace that opens to views over organic farmland and meadows where local wildlife is often visible from the treetop vantage point. Inside, the treehouse is simply furnished for comfort: a made bed with a warm duvet, soft lighting and small touches that enhance the mood. Dry toilets are provided in the cabin; showers and extra facilities are hosted in the renovated 17th-century henhouse. Breakfast is included and delivered around 08:30 in a basket to be hoisted to your terrace, a charming ritual perfect for two. For dinner, choose from our homemade evening menus prepared with local, seasonal produce or order a picnic basket for a private meal on your terrace. We also offer cheese plates, local cider and organic apple juice from our farm. The estate provides several gentle activities: strolls through the château park, pétanque, ping-pong, a mini farm and supervised archery for children. For couples seeking a playful day out, our FilO'Parc aerial nets and family escape game can be booked; note these activities are paid, with one complimentary option offered for stays of two nights or more. Practical details: arrivals are between 15:00 and 19:00; the first briefing is at 16:30 and cabin access follows. We supply lamps and bottled water on arrival, and towels and toiletries are available at the washrooms. Pets are not allowed. The Chestnut Loft is a perfect pick for anniversaries, honeymoons or simply a quiet weekend in nature.

Our cabins are far from each other to guarantee you peace and quiet. They are surrounded by organic crops, which allows the fauna and flora to flourish. Our cabins are perfect for a romantic moment, but also with family or friends: our largest family cabin on three levels (terrace at 14m) in a single tree is unique in France, and can accommodate 8 adults + a child between 2 and 10 years.
A pétanque court invites fans of this traditional game to compete in a warm and entertaining atmosphere.

You're also welcome to bring your own picnic: just bring your own crockery and a rubbish bag. We also have a wide choice of restaurants in the area, a list of which is available on request.
Your breakfast, included in your overnight stay, will consist of a hot drink of your choice, croissants and fresh bread with butter and jam, and juice from our organic apples. It will be delivered to you in the morning at around 8:30 a.m., in a basket that you will hoist onto the terrace.
